Updates Oh Updates

Well, for those of you who read this which probably isn't many, a few things have taken place over the last few months.

1. We got a new car.

2. I started Weight Watchers and have lost 12.8 pounds. Jon eating what I make not doing weight watchers = 15 lb loss WTF!? But I am so happy that we are getting healthy!

3. I got my AA degree in History

4. Still have a job! YAY!
5. We have set up a debt in focus thing and we should be rid of my personal loan and credit card (premarriage) by 2013! Then all we have to focus on is my studen loan
6. I am making payments on my interest for my student loan!

Anyways,

there has been a lot going on in both of our families lately. Jon's aunt was just diagnosed with breast cancer and had a node removed in her breast. Luckily and uncommonly it was encased in a hard shell and the cancer had not spread! WOO HOO! On another note, my grandfather on my step-dad's side has a form of throat cancer. I have no news on that and any attempt to contact my dad has left me well powerless. But I continue to keep trying.

I just finished a walk for MS yesterday which was I believe close to a 5k! It wasn't strenuous in the least, but enjoyable to be out side regardless if it was at Legoland... I would have rather done it at Liberty Station in SD, but it with with my work so I don't have a choice really. I think I should be getting pictures so I will post when I get them.

Jon and I are rounding our 1 month to Yosemite National Park trip! We are totally excited and can't wait to go and walk around and explore! From what the books says it is bound to be a busy weekend being that it is memorial day and well, we don't really care as we are staying for the WHOLE WEEK! This is the first long trip that we have really taken besides Lone Pine, CA and that was but four days off of work not the full 6 that we are taking from work not including the weekend.
We are still very much in our honeymoon phase of our relationship and it just feels so nice to be married to someone you love so very much.
We have been talking children but have decided to wait at the very least now 3 years not our estimated 5 previously decided upon. By that time we will be 27/28 so we think that is still very young. We both don't want to wait until we are in our 30s too much as we fell we might not have the energy that we do right now. So that was a compromise. Also I am losing weight and if I continue to lose 1 lb on average a week or more then I will have my weight loss goal in a little over a year! So I will have a year to enjoy my thinner healthier body before getting preggo! haha
Anyways, not much more to say! Just wanted to update as it has been a while.
All our love,
Jacque and Jon
